Executive Team

Jason A. Oswald
President

For more than 15 years, Jason has worked in the insurance industry, where he's garnered both broad and detailed knowledge of how the marketplace works. He began as an actuary (read: risk assessor with a sharp set of math skills) at a Fortune 500 property and casualty firm and then moved into roles that gave him responsibility for strategic direction, profit and loss, and tailored product development. His combination of well-honed analytical skills with deep knowledge of the nuances of insurance drives the company's success, as he oversees every recommendation made by J. A. Oswald & Associates.

Jason’s passions run the gamut from personal to professional. He’s the father of two young children, a role that has sparked his interest in very short hikes near his Denver home, putt-putt (in lieu of 18 holes), and the culinary wonders of mac ‘n’ cheese. He’s an avid skier and a diehard Nebraska Cornhuskers football fan. Professionally, he’s passionate about driving greater efficiency in processes for key products and services and about developing the skills and talents of those who support this industry.

Jason is a graduate of the University of Nebraska, where he earned a BSBA in Actuarial Science with a minor in Finance. He holds the Associate of Captive Insurance (ACI), Associate of Risk Management (ARM), and Construction Risk & Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations, and is a recipient of CNA's 2010 Chairman's CARE Award.
